Wonderous washi tape
Since the start of June, I’ve been doing Susannah Conway’s latest e-course, Journal Your Life. If you haven’t come across Susannah’s work before, I encourage you to check out her website and her blog – she is wonderfully warm, inclusive, creative, and so inspiring. Even though my life is crazy busy and I don’t have much time for “journalling” (I’m sorry, but I just can’t see “to journal” as being a verb …) – sorry, writing in my diary – Susannah has paced the course beautifully and ensure there is no pressure on participants to keep up with the exercises. In fact, she encourages us all to do them in our own time and at our own pace – which means I have lots of work to look forward.
However, one of the things that I have been keeping up with is the course group’s new found love for washi tape. Have you ever come across it before? Washi tape is an entirely new concept for me but oh my do I love it! We’re using it for everything from sticking inspirational words and images in our journals, to mind mapping, and also just for the joy of it. It comes in so many different colours and patterns, and for (vaguely obsessive) organisational types like me it’s like being able to stick the most delicious jar of jelly beans to the pages of my diary. SO. MUCH. FUN.
I highly recommend you invest in some washi tape – hours of fun for all the family! 😉
